Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors that influence children being accompanied by their parents during study hours and the impact of accompanying children during study hours. This research was conducted in April-May 2023 at the Dharma Wanita II Sempu Kindergarten, Kunduran District, Blora Regency. The method in this study uses a qualitative approach. The research subjects were 6 parents who accompanied their children during study hours. Collecting data by interview, observation, and documentation. The results of the research show that the factors of parental assistance during children's study hours, namely excessive affection for children, special needs that require children to be accompanied (spoiled children), poor development and parenting patterns of child development and the impact of assistance, namely hampering children's independent attitudes, children's emotional obstruction, children's motoric obstacles, children's social aspects are hampered. The child's lack of independence can be seen when the child wants to put the shoes on the shelf, the child still asks the parents for help to take them off and put them on the shoe shelf. Permissive parenting patterns tend to provide excessive affection (spoiling children) and worry about children, as a result children feel tied down and have less opportunity to learn like children in general. Which ultimately hinders children's emotional, social and motoric development.

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi anak di dampingi orang tua pada jam belajar dan dampak pendampingan anak pada jam belajar berlangsung. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Bulan April-Mei 2023 bertempat di TK Dharma Wanita II Sempu Kecamatan Kunduran Kabupaten Blora. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subyek penelitian adalah 6 orang tua yang mendampingi anak pada jam belajar. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa faktor pendampingan orang tua pada jam belajar anak, yaitu kasih sayang yang berlebihan terhadap anak, kebutuhan khusus yang mengharuskan anak didampingi (anak manja), perkembangan dan pola pengasuhan perkembangan anak yang kurang baik dan dampak pendampingan yaitu terhambatnya sikap kemandirian anak, terhambatnya emosional anak, terhambatnya motorik anak, terhambatnya aspek sosial anak. Ketidak mandirian anak terlihat saat anak hendak meletakkan sepatu di rak, anak masih minta bantuan ke orang tua untuk melepasnya dan meletakkan di rak sepatu. Pola pengasuhan permisif yang cenderung memberikan kasih sayang yang berlebih (memanjakan anak) serta kekhawatiran terhadap anak, akibatnya anak merasa terikat dan kurang berkesempatan untuk belajar selayaknya anak pada umumnya.Yang akhirnya menghambat perkembangan emosional, sosial, dan motorik anak.
